Recipe for Grill Cat Fish
Grill Ikan Keli (Cat fish)
It is a traditional recipe for grill cat fish which have been used by my grand parent and maybe my great...great grand parent.
The cat fish we used is around 200- 250 gram. The cat fish are clean by taking it stomach off and washed throughly.
The ingredients included pepper, garlic, red onion, ginger, lemon grass. Mix it with a table spoon of vegetable oil.
The ingredients is mixed with the cat fish and it is ready to be grill. We are using the traditional grilling process by using wood as the fuel. The cat fish are grilled through an open fire.
The cat fish ready to be put on the grill. It is advisable to control the BBQ flame by ensuring burned wood are spread evenly.
Cat fish being grill under a constant flame. The grill using wood emit a nice aroma compared to using the modern gas stove grill or electric grill.
The end product - grilled cat fish. It is ready to be serve with black soya source mixed with chilli and fresh lime. The hotness of the chilli depended on how many chilli being used and according to the person.
